Submit Malawi data with enough context to make it usable

Use this page for dataset leads, file submissions, or publishing conversations tied to a specific dataset.

Before you submit

The most useful submissions include the source institution, dataset title, time or geographic coverage, and any reuse terms you already know.

Source and ownership Name the institution or project that produced the data, and include the source page if one exists.
Reuse terms State whether the dataset is open, restricted, or requires approval so Kafukufuku can present it responsibly.
Coverage Tell us the years, districts, regions, or thematic scope so the catalog is searchable and not just downloadable.
Format and caveats Mention whether the source is CSV, XLSX, PDF, shapefile, or report, and note any extraction or quality issues.
Metadata template If you are submitting several datasets, start from the Kafukufuku metadata intake template so titles, coverage, and reuse terms arrive in a structured way.

Before you submit Dataset submissions should include a dataset title plus either a source URL or a clearly named organization. Partnership inquiries should name the organization involved.
Required for dataset contribution inquiries.
Name the institution that produced or owns the dataset.
If there is no public URL yet, name the source organization above.
